Automation enables many operations to be performed with little effort, speed, and high quality. As digitization increases, automation in all technical fields continues to spread.

In teaching, we teach how automation is methodically designed on the basis of models and realized with the help of software.

In research we develop descriptive tools, methods and tools for the design, implementation, testing, operation and modernization of automation systems in production plants, logistics systems, energy systems, buildings and technical devices.
